Il tema del paesaggio è senz'altro dovuto alla bellezza della natura che ci circonda in quest'angolo di Paradiso... Le visioni che ne scaturiscono sono rimembranze, fugaci impressioni del reale: una foto interiore si potrebbe dire. Senza scadere nel descrittivo ma anzi cercando di reinterpretare lo spazio, la profondità dei vari piani di lontananza, si fissa sulla tela i profili dei monti, l'orizzonte del lago, la tipica vegetazione con brevi tocchi di pennello, a tratti puntinato, per cogliere l'atmosfera " en plein air" di impressionista memoria.
